What is a crystal elixir?
Getting out my rose quartz to make up some crystal elixirs with the new moon this week, and I can not help but be mesmerised by the beauty.
What is a crystal elixir?
It is an energetic liquid created using the crystals and intention to bring about emotional healing and peace of mind.
You can either use the prescribed dose of 3 drops, 3 times a day, use a pendulum to ask your body how much it needs or add 10 drops to a a litre of water and drink it through the day.
Crystal energy works with your own energy to bring you what you need using the healing of the earth, the earth that contains the same elements as your physical body.
As I create an elixir I draw in the energies to ease what the current pain is. I call in life source energy, or reiki , focus in on emotions that will bring release or relief of anything that needs to be let go of.
Water holds memory, as explored by Dr. Masaru Emoto in the 1990’s. When we focus emotions like appreciation, compassion, joy, etc into water, it holds that energy. It is the principle of this that things like homeopathy, flower and herb essences and elixirs, and also crystal essences and elixirs use. Taking the energy of the crystal into the water for it’s healing power, and being amplified by the water itself. of compassion and focus to bring you clarity on what will help ease your anxiety.
How do I make the elixirs?
I have 2 methods I use.
The direct method
If I am using only quartz crystals in an elixir I place the crystals directly into the water to take in the crystal energy. This doesn’t make anything more powerful or better, it mostly just reduces the tools I need and time it takes.
The indirect method
Many crystal are actually toxic if ingested or will dissolve in water. So to make a crystal elixir using pretty much anything else I use this method. The indirect method calls for the crystals to be place into a container of their own, and then that is placed in the water. All my containers are glass, and this enable the crystal energy to be taken into the water.
Everything else is the same for both methods
I use only glass for the creation process, no plastic or metal. Everything I use is sterlised, or in the case of the quartz crystals I place in the water, washed for 5 minutes under clean, running water.

Bringing in Calm
Rose Quartz is a heart centric crystal. It helps bring love to you. The intention set into this elixir is around self compassion and self kindness to allow you to feel relief from whatever is creating the anxiousness within.
